Code of Conduct
NLG believes gaming should be available for everyone. We've set these rules for your safety and comfort and everyone else. NLG is not here to baby-sit you. If you are under the age of 18, we will treat you like an adult unless you prove to us that we are wrong. The following rules are subject to change and we ask that all gamers at NLG follow these rules while playing or visiting:
Be respectful of everyone. NLG is committed to making sure that the center is providing a safe friendly and welcoming environment for all people regardless of their gender, sexual orientation, disability, ethnicity or religion.
NLG expects that all gamers / visitors are on their best behavior. Expected behavior is to be considerate and respectful. Please refrain from any form of discrimination, harassment, or any form of demeaning behavior. Friendly trash talking is acceptable. If any is suspected at all, you will be asked to leave with no refunds given.
Be respectful of the equipment. No throwing, smashing or hitting of the keyboards, mice, screens, computers, headsets, or any other NLG property. If there is a problem with a piece of equipment, please ask for assistance. (Do not try and fix it yourself)!! You may be charged for any devices purposely damaged.
If you are under the age of 12, a parent or legal guardian must stay present with you during your stay.
The computer will give you auditory warnings when your time is almost up. When your time is up, the computer will lock itself. Make sure to add more time or finish playing before that happens.
Please make sure you clean up after yourself and clean your hands before using the computer. You are allowed to have a bottled or canned drink with you, but if you accidentally spill something, please let us know. We won't get mad or yell at you, we just want to make sure it gets cleaned up right away. Please throw away any trash!
When arriving and leaving NLG, please be respectful of the neighboring businesses and their customers.
Advertising of NLG. On occasion we will take photos of our events or general game play to use in advertising, promotional materials or our website. By accepting these rules you permit the use and display of said photographs in any publication, multimedia production, display, advertisement or World-Wide Web Publication for NLG. You also agree that NLG may use your likeness and release and forever discharge NLG, its employees from any and all claims and demands arising out of or in connection with the use of said photographs / images, including but not limited to, any claims for invasion of privacy or defamation.
No weapons of any kind are allowed inside the center.
Watch your language. Light swearing is fine, but don’t be loud and obnoxious about it.
Do not use any of our machines for engagement of illegal or questionable activity of any kind. This includes any illegal trading of pirated songs, movies, or online gambling. Pornography is strictly forbidden at NLG. This is a family place and any such activity will result in an immediate termination of game play and asked to leave to premises with no refunds. We have filters set up, purposely bypassing these filters will result in an immediate permanent ban.
No illegal substances are allowed. Smoking and vaping is strictly forbidden. Consumption of alcoholic beverages is not allowed.
We may, at our sole discretion, refuse to service any customer for any reason.
Management reserves the right to take appropriate action if any of the above rules are not followed at their discretion no questions asked.
